I've always seen the value in buying American made especially in clothing.  Not only is the quality usually much better but, you are also supporting our economy and American jobs at the same time.  I was in a class in Heldenfels when I learned of the attacks on September 11th.  Shortly thereafter, I made the decision that I was only going to buy American made clothes.  I learned that it was not impossible but sometimes difficult.  From exhaustive internet searches, I would find small and large companies that made clothes here.  Some were new and some were old but oftentimes right after finding them, I'd find that they were going out of business.  Many of the brands I discovered were not any more expensive than the well known foreign produced brands.  Well, one day I found a company that makes t shirts out of organic cotton grown in Texas on a farm that has been in the family for about 100 years.  On top of that, the farmer is Gary Oldham, class of '73.  You may think that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to grow cotton but even if it did he is covered having earned his master's degree in aeronautical engineering at Texas A&M.  So, it seemed like a perfect fit that would find a market with Aggies who were looking for something to show their Aggie pride but, whose needs weren't being met by what was currently for sale anywhere.  To that end, I have sought out products with classic designs in maroon and white.  Well, I was finally able to find one licensed screen printer to print the shirts for me.  The result is the block ATM shirt I have available.  The other offerings for sale on the site come from American companies producing their goods here.  I will continue to add new products in the future as the brand grows.

Thanks and Gig 'Em
